This is a very common concern for many. We have all seen someone, both male and female, that their hair color just doesn’t look natural. Here are some things to consider when choosing your hair color.
1st seek professional consultation- call Erin’s Hair Garage and make an appointment with a Matrix colorist.
You will need to decide on a color that is right for you and meets as closely as possible your color goal. Remember just because a color looks great on someone else it may not be right for you.
Depending on your natural/existing color to remain more natural looking you should only go 2 levels darker than what your natural is. Otherwise when you start to get new growth (roots) in 2 weeks it will look fake.
Ask your colorist/stylist for a multi-dimensional color. This process results in a more natural reflective color.
Above all you need to communicate as fully as possible with your colorist/stylist what you want, and also what you don’t. Bring examples from magazines, or mention another client that may have had their hair done at Erin’s. Provide as much information as you can and you should be happy with the result.
